Wanna se something neat?
This is one of the things I found while studying the Apollo 11 mission. A real UFO in video and pictures.
One of the curiosities of the Apollo 11 video as it was broadcast on TV in 1969, is a small white dot that was seen just above the horizon for the entire duration of the broadcast. I found a screen shot from early in the EVA (moonwalk) that shows it pretty nicely.

I've marked it with a red arrow. It's just right of it. During that broadcast, the public address announcer made a statement about it. He said it was a phosphorous spot from the TV converter at the Parkes Station in Australia. To keep it simple, it was the old cathode ray tube version of a burnt out pixel. It never showed up in any Apollo 11 photograph, the sky in that area is nothing but black in the background of all the photos showing that area of the lunar sky. With 2 big exceptions I discovered about 12 years. Study that photo a moment and try to get a feel for the site and where everything is. You'll need that bit of perspective to appreciate the next photo. And make a note of the second arrow that points to the location of where the second photo was taken from. It's just out of the field of view of the TV camera and right of the white dot.

That's As-11-40-5946. [AS11-40-5946HR.jpg (2349×2373) (nasa.gov)](https://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/AS11-40-5946HR.jpg) You see the Tv camera and the lunar excursion Module in the background right of it. To see that UFO you have to look into the reflection in Buzz Aldrin's visor. You see Armstrong standing in the distance with his back to the white dot, taking the picture. Over his shoulder, just above the horizon, right about where that supposed burnt out pixel would be, is a white dot. The same white dot? It's in pretty much the right place. It's also visible in the next photo shot probably a few seconds after this one. [AS11-40-5947HR.jpg (2349×2369) (nasa.gov)](https://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/a11/AS11-40-5947HR.jpg)
There are a few possibilities. That UFO was actually there, and NASA scrubbed it out of all the photographs. Except than nobody noticed it was in the visor reflection and they missed it. It could be something else altogether, that just happened to be by coincidence visible in the exact same place the, "phosphorous spot," would be. Such as a speck of lint on Buzz Aldrin's visor. And I don't totally discount that. I've compared both photos. Aldrin changes the position of his body just slightly. Armstrong also moves several feet to this right between photos. It doesn't seem to effect very much the position of the white dot relative to the visor itself while all the other elements in the reflection move at least a little bit. But without a visor and a camera to experiment with, I can't say for sure what those effects might have. The visor is rounded and acts something like a distorted fun house mirror. I can't be sure how reflections behave without studying them in a more in depth manner.
Anyway, there it is, your UFO on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. What is it? Don't ask me. I don't know. It is a UFO, unidentified.
