Question about bond rings

Is there any reason to make bond rings for different emblems? Or should I just make rings for one emblem till I have them all S ranked? If I try and make rings for each emblem won’t I end up with lot of rings I’m not using?

Seems to me you’d be better off spending your fragments increasing your emblem bonds with different characters than making these rings. I can see you want to have enough rings for everyone but is there a reason to make more or spread them across multiple emblems?
