Help me fix Citrinne (or mages in general)

Citrinne loves her tomes but she’s really not built to be lugging around massive books all the time. These tomes slow her down tremendously! For instance one of her tomes gives her a -12 speed penalty! I tried increasing her build by making her a general, she was a general for 5 lvls and gained 1 bld. I don’t recommend it.

So how would you help fix her problem and a problem that effects many mages? Leif offers +5 build as a skill which would put her at 10-11 bld. I could also take +5 speed from lyn which would have a similar effect. I could take speed taker, 5 kills and you get +10 speed.

I’ve got two skill slots so I could technically combine two effects but then I’m not taking skills like tome precision or resonance which also benefit a mage.

So how would you fix Citrinnes big book problem? Any advice is appreciated as her back is killing her.
