A Father's Advice Goes Unheeded (Part Four)
Jackson sat on the couch of Liana’s apartment lost in a whirl of emotion. He’d just experienced the best orgasm of his life even though his testicles felt like achy bowling balls the entire time Liana was riding him. How had he pushed through the pain to reach such a euphoric climax? It didn’t make any sense, and yet it had happened.
“Hey,” Liana said as she turned the corner to the living room. “You still up for dinner? I know you said you’re fine, but I just want to make sure. We can stay in if you want.”
Jackson looked up at her and his jaw dropped. While she was wearing the same black dress with the white stripes and the same red heels he’d gotten her, Liana looked far more stunning now than when he’d shown up earlier for their date. Was it her eyes? Or maybe that fire engine red lip gloss? The loose curls of her red-brown hair? He’d not noticed any of these things when he’d arrived. All he saw was the perfect, firm cleavage the dress presented. And that’s what got you into this mess in the first place, his inner voice chided.
“Wow,” he said, looking Liana dead in the eyes. “You look amazing.”
“Aw, thanks Jax,” Liana blushed, smiling inside at his valiant effort to maintain eye contact. “You clean up well, too. Sorry it took me so much longer. I hope you weren’t bored out here.”
“Not at all,” Jackson quipped. There was a part of him that wanted to tell Liana what he’d been musing about, but he was still too uncertain of his emotions to come clean with it. Besides, Liana looked eager to get going.
“Well, then, I’m ready when you are,” Liana said, moving past him toward the door. As Jackson rose slowly from the sofa, she turned her head back to him. “And I know I said it earlier, but damn Jax, that was the best orgasm of my life! I don’t know what got into you, but I hope it sticks around.” She winked as he hustled as best he could to her side.
As Liana closed the door to her apartment, Jackson offered his arm. “May I escort you to the car?” He asked, trying to play the role of a gentleman.
“You may,” Liana said, smiling at her tall, handsome man as she took his arm.

At dinner, a sushi bar in the heart of downtown, Jackson listened as Liana chattered on about her week. Though most of it was about work-related stuff that Jackson wasn’t super interested in, she always had one or two stories worth tuning in for. So far, though, nothing materialized. As he sat quietly, listening between bites of sushi, he found himself rehashing what had transpired earlier and it surprised him to find he was more focused on Liana’s attack on his genitals than he was about the ensuing sex. It still seemed unfair that she kicked him seemingly out of the blue. It’s not like he was intentionally ogling her after all. It’s just that her boobs were on display in the most amazing way. He snuck a peek across the table to verify his memory. Yep, still amazing. Reluctantly, he lifted his gaze not wanting to get caught staring again. Huh, he thought, musing about his behavioral choice. Maybe Liana’s onto something. Previously he’d have just kept on staring.
Jackson’s mind was still divided on the idea, though, and when he thought back to how easily Liana had countered his attempted shove, it actually made him a little mad. It should have been so easy to push her tiny frame to the ground. As she plucked a piece of the dragon roll from the board with her chopsticks, Jackson, in his private irritation, felt the urge to reach out and slap it away before she could get it to her mouth. He concentrated on adjusting the napkin in his lap to keep his hands from working on their own accord. But what if he had? What would she have done? Would she come around the table and try to yank him to his feet so she could nail him in the balls like she promised to do if he acted up?
Glancing around the room, Jackson shuddered silently. The restaurant was pretty packed which meant quite a few people would see his eggs get scrambled. He imagined the scene in his mind. It was terrifying, but… Jackson felt his heart rate accelerate, it was also strangely exhilarating. All those people watching this gorgeous, decked out girl kick him square in the balls. He swallowed hard. What would he do? How would he handle it? The possibilities flooded into his mind and he wasn’t sure what he would do. No doubt he would feel embarrassed, but would that make him angry or would he just try to play it off like it was no big deal.
The more he thought about it, the more he knew he would definitely be pissed off. The thing was, it was a big deal. Even if Liana thought it was a relatively normal thing for a woman to hit a guy in the nuts, most people would be stunned to see it happen. Jackson was no dummy. He knew girls often laughed at seeing a guy get racked. He glanced around the room again and found there were definitely more women than men in the restaurant. Could he handle all those women laughing at him if Liana kicked him in the balls again?
As Jackson wrestled with his thoughts, he was unaware that Liana’s voice had stilled. By the time he realized it, he found her staring at him with her head cocked to one side, her chopsticks poised over the sushi board. A bloom of crimson rose up his neck.
“A penny for your thoughts, Jax,” Liana quipped, sounding less irritated than Jackson would’ve expected.
“I, uh, wasn’t, uh, thinking anything really. Just enjoying the food,” he answered lamely.
Liana raised an eyebrow but said nothing, letting the false notes in his voice hang between them.
As the silence thickened, Jackson realized he wanted nothing more than to confide in Liana all the things he’d been thinking about. But his ego told him that was a very stupid idea. “It’s nothing, really,” he said, trying to brush aside Liana’s curiosity.
Liana scooped up a piece of sushi and popped it in her mouth before leveling her disbelieving gaze on him as she slowly chewed the bite. She swallowed and narrowed her eyes.
It was too much for Jackson. “Fine,” he cracked. “You really want to know what I was thinking about?” She nodded with a wry grin that made him shift uncomfortably in his chair. Before continuing, Jackson peeked at the tables surrounding them and, finding no one seemed particularly interested in what was happening at his table, leaned in across the table and whispered, “I’ve been thinking about how you kicked me and also about the crazy sex we had. My head feels like it’s literally spinning.”
“Ha!” Liana cried, though she kept her voice a whisper, too, as the wry grin became a smile that reached up to her eyes. “I’ve been thinking about those things, too! I just wasn’t sure how to broach the subject once the moment seemed to pass.”
Jackson’s mouth curled into a faint smile. “Me neither,” he confessed. “But this doesn’t seem like the right place. Or is that just me?”
Liana glanced around the bright, bustling room. “Yeah, it’s a little too buzzy in here. How about we finish up and head to a quiet little place I know?”
“Good idea, Li,” Jackson agreed.
Twenty minutes later, the couple squeezed behind a small round top table in the corner of a very dark wine bar, nearly disappearing in the shadows.
