FireTV Remote Battery Offline Online OK

I have a firetv stick that works when it is used almost anyplace except my house.

At the house, the firetv and remote is the biggest POS that ever was…

Today, at the house, I noticed that even with a new set of Duracell Alkaline batteries, bought 3 days ago, the battery indicator for the remote oscillates between offline, online, and OK.

Anyone have this experience? I can’t help but think that the battery indicator symptom and the fact that the remote doesn’t work worth $h!t may be connected…

I am about ready to dip the firetv and remote in a bucket of water and move to Apple TV…At least with Apple, it will likely work…

I am open to anything…

Maybe if I shoot the firetv and remote with a 22-250 it will work better…at this point it would not be worse…
