Lied to about snapshot

My insurance agent told me that my “bad” driving would not increase my rates, after asking multiple times. 6 months later now that I’m trying to renew my policy, it’s now an extra $600 because of snapshot. Is there anyway to get this charge removed cause the agent lied? Or am I just screwed cause I trusted them?
