Travel without physical ticket even on offline booking, on Rajdhani, how feasible is it?

So, the thing is, I am in a university, and holidays are coming after few days, wanna go home and train tickets are waitlisted, if they are not confirmed, only solution would be tatkal.

Online tatkal has failed me everytime, so I am not hopeful about it, rather offline ticket from the counter, coz it had worked last time my father tried in new delhi railway station, queue was short as it had many counters.

I can't travel to station a day prior, coz its too far and I am too busy with exams.

My father can, but we doubt if I can travel without physical ticket (coz no way he can send me physical ticket here), last time, I didn't had to show physical ticket to the TTE, he just asked my name.

I can get a pic of the ticket; would that work with Rajdhani? Can, I be sure?
