Alea Iacta Est (The die is cast)
I could be entirely off base on my understanding of this ending, if you think I am, please tell me what you think this ending represents.
Alea Iacta Est (the die is cast): Maybe the most interesting and troublesome ending. You make a coral singularity which I think maybe explodes in a supernova? Anyway, if I interpret correctly, everyone, possibly in the entire galaxy is dead. What's happened is everyone's consciousness/mind/soul has been absorbed by the coral. Raven and everyone, Possibly even the other pilots who have died in the course of the story (because ALLMIND was downloading people?), have been turned into raw data. Some unclear amount of time has passed, and Raven and the other pilots minds have “woken up” in AC bodies. Or maybe, that ending scene is a vision of things interpreted through the coral. I took it as literal (the AC's waking up).
Is this a good thing? Seems to me, we've now done way more damage than the fire of raven or the fires of ibis ever did. But I don't know, I guess everyone is immortal raw consciousness now, but without a body is that a hellish existence?
Or am I totally wrong about that ending, if I am, tell me what you think is happening in this ending.
