Using this to write magical fights(Harry Potter...)
I want to write a fiction taking place in the world of Harry Potter but i can't write good fighting scenes, so I tried to use chatGPT to write some fights to take my inspirations but it's still not to my liking.
First one i asked : " write a long magical fight between the wizards Voldmort and Dumbledore from Harry Potter. In this fight Voldemort should use powerful and destructive dark magic, explosive magic and necromancy while Dumbledore will mostly use transmutation magic and manipulating his surroundings with magic. The fight will take place in Hogsmeade, the wizarding village near Hogwarts in 1978 at the height of the first blood war. "
And I got

"The moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the quiet village of Hogsmeade. It was the year 1978, and the wizarding world was in the grip of the first blood war. The air was thick with tension as two of the most powerful wizards of their time, Albus Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort, faced each other in a magical duel that would be remembered for generations.
The cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade were empty as the two wizards locked eyes, the weight of their shared history hanging between them. Voldemort, his pale, snake-like visage illuminated by the silver light, raised his wand, a cruel smile playing on his lips. Dumbledore, his long white beard flowing in the wind, calmly drew his own wand, a look of determination etched on his wise face.
With a flick of his wand, Voldemort unleashed a torrent of dark energy, a wave of destructive magic that tore through the air, ripping apart buildings and leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. Dumbledore, however, was quick to react. With a swift transmutation spell, he turned the crumbling debris into a shimmering barrier that deflected the dark magic away.
The battle escalated as Voldemort, fueled by his desire for power, unleashed explosive spells that shook the very foundations of Hogsmeade. Buildings crumbled, and the night was filled with the sounds of destruction. Dumbledore responded with a subtle wave of his wand, transmuting the air itself to form a protective shield around him. The explosions echoed off the magical barrier as if the very air had turned solid.
In retaliation, Dumbledore manipulated the environment, causing the very earth beneath Voldemort to rise up in tendrils, attempting to ensnare him. But Voldemort, ever cunning, twisted the dark magic within him and forced the ground to shatter, breaking free from Dumbledore's control. The ground trembled as the two wizards continued to dance between destruction and creation.
As the battle raged on, Voldemort, drawing upon the darkest arts, summoned the spirits of the deceased. From the shadows, wraith-like figures emerged, their ghostly forms serving as an army at the Dark Lord's command. Dumbledore's eyes flashed with a mix of sorrow and determination as he conjured a protective barrier of light, holding back the ethereal onslaught.
Dumbledore, realizing the need to end this conflict, channeled his magic into the very essence of Hogsmeade itself. He transmuted the bricks of the remaining buildings into an intricate, ever-shifting labyrinth that closed in around Voldemort. The Dark Lord fought against the constriction, his every attempt to break free countered by Dumbledore's expert manipulation of the magical structure.
In the climax of the duel, Dumbledore, with a final, powerful transmutation, fused the bricks together, trapping Voldemort in a solid, impenetrable wall. The air was thick with silence as the dust settled, revealing the once-feared Dark Lord encased in stone.
Dumbledore, panting and weary, surveyed the aftermath of the battle. The village of Hogsmeade lay in ruins, but the threat of Voldemort was temporarily contained. As he turned away from the petrified form of his adversary, the elder wizard knew that the war was far from over. The echoes of their magical clash would resonate through the wizarding world, leaving an indelible mark on history."
I want the fight to be more desciptive, this feels kinda weird; how would you ask chatGPT?
Off course it's just for fun, and english is not my native language so maybe I am missing something here.
