Top Five Properties to hit Public Domain before I'm 40.

5. Nancy Drew (2026) - Now that the Hardy Boys are public domain, it seems fitting when she'll be able to join them.

4. The Hobbit (2033) - While I'll probably never make an adaptation of Middle Earth, it'll be cool to have Hobbits as staple fantasy creatures like Dwarves and Elves, finally able to populate any fantasy world, not just Middle Earth.

3. Donald Duck (2030) - My favorite Mickey character, he's lots of fun and I just feel like there's lots of potential.

2. Tintin (2025) - Just found out about this last night, but I was a big fan of Tintin for awhile after the 2011 film came out, and the chance of exploring the character on my own just seems exciting.R

1. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (2035) - He's just my boy, you know, no modern Christmas story is complete without him.
