Appreciating the romantic/emotional side of BB

I have been practising BB for almost a year now with my partner of 3 years. It feels very different to the content I see usually posted here, so I thought I'd share. For context, my GF isn't particularly turned on by BB but she just does it for me- she has her own fair share of kinks/fantasies that I help her fulfill.

For me, the most enjoyable part of BB isn't the pain itself, but the fact it's someone I love causing the pain. I like the fact that she, and only she has permission to hurt me like that, and I love the trust between us- she won't go too far and I will tell her if she's going overboard. I like that during the sessions the power dynamic switches a few times and that after every session it returns to normal. I enjoy the fact she respects that I don't want anyone else to know so she doesn't talk about it with her friends.

There's also the physical side of it I like other than the pain. I like to hold her/kiss her/get kissed by her- the contrast between loving touches and intense pain is lovely.

Is there anyone else that likes this kind of BB?
