Is there any way to transfer save data from xbox to steam

Ive tried researching this and multiple websites say it has cross save but i cant figure out how so I believe its a lie. Does anyone know of any way to transfer save data? Im moving to pc and have a ton of hours on the game and really don’t want to restart.
