Help! Fast onset of wrinkly and possibly loose skin. I am new to skin care.
I am going to describe this the best way I understand to. About a year ago, it was like I woke up one day and my skin had changed pretty drastically overnight. At least it seemed that way. I am someone who spends a lot of time in the mirror, so I am aware of changes. Specifically, I noticed the skin on my forehead was reacting very differently to facial expressions than it did before (far deeper and more wrinkles) and it did not bounce back as fast. If I make no expressions at all, my skin looks pretty smooth. But with any eyebrow movement at all the wrinkles become quite pronounced.

This fast transition was a shocker to me that I was not ready for. It was a bad blow because I believe myself to be a fairly attractive man, and that attractiveness felt to be docked down a fair amount in a very short amount of time. As a male, I feel we are generally pretty far behind the curve on skin care. I had no routine or precaution whatsoever, and this occurrence caused me to begin researching skin care like crazy.

Ultimately, I (1) had been spending a lot of time in the sun for a few years with no protection, and (2) I had been practicing yo-yo dieting trying to get ahold of my weight. I committed cardinal sins of skin care. I am certain I have accumulated sun damage, and I think it is possible I have reduced the fat pads under my skin as well. Although I have researched skin care a great deal in this past year, I have not taken many steps forward. I've wanted to gather as much information as possible.

**Here is the help I am hoping for.** I understand prevention is the best medicine, and I have now purchased sunscreen, moisturizer, and retinol to use going forward. But **has anyone had any experience truly reversing the effects of somewhat "droopy" forehead skin, and if so, how did you do it?** It's been a bad blow to my self concept.
