What styles of writing do you prefer to read?

Erotica to me is primarily about smut - mental porn. So when I read a story, I generally want to read action, the smutty ball-bashing details of impact, his pain, her joy, etc; the more descriptive the better! However I don't mind a little story development, and enjoy some of the series here that add intimacy to the characters and narrative. In my own writing so far I feel that I have too much descriptive buildup, so looking for feedback.

Do you prefer stories that quickly get to the ballbusting action, or ones that spend multiple paragraphs to develop the plot?
