Reliable early 2000's style camera?

Hey yall, back when I was a kid I had a little digital camcorder that could record video and take photos and I absolutely loved it, even today I still love that sorta early 2000's kinda crappy photo/video style and I was wondering if anyone knows of a reliable camera that will produce that sort of style. I know i could just get a crappy camera but I'd like one that isn't actually crap like bad battery life and stuff, just the old photo/video quality.
