I can't find anyone on free match!

Hey guys, I'm new to the Fusion world card game and have been having a lot of fun playing online but I found it impossible to win in ranked matches...

So I tried to go to free matches where there should be less competitive but I can't find anyone! I tried matching 8 times and the game can't find anyone.

Is free match dead? Any tips on how I can learn to play without going up against level 90+ players?
