Look and or feel

I’m just curious at to how a guy can bust on their partners soles without touching it with his shaft.
I love a good pair of soles but I personally cannot bust without touching my partner’s sole or at least smelling them. I’ve been seeing or hear this a lot. Is the touch not good enough anymore or something
