When drawing a mask shape, does anyone know how to select all nodes along dotted line (outer/feather line)?

I make some pretty intricate shapes with many nodes, and the dotted line added around my shape is usually always too far away, and I've been having to click on each dotted node and drag it closer to the mask line. This takes forever, is there anyway to select all nodes and bring them closer to their source node?

I'm a novice so I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense.
