Shortening Bimimi
We just bought a new Harris Cruiser 250, which we are pretty happy with. Except that the Bimini is about 3-4 inches too tall.
We rent a covered slip with a lift, so the boat is well protected, but the roof is a little low and we can't deploy or fold up the Bimini while in the slip. Also, my wife and I are of average height and it's awkward for use to use the darn thing.
Seems kinda like I should be able to remove the hardware and take 3 inches off the bottom of the legs and then put the hardware back on.
Has anyone tried this?
