domme discourse

I hope this isn’t the hot take I think it’s going to be, but it’s been on my mind ever since I started findom. a lot of dommes talk about other dommes in the findom space entirely too much. I would say it’s an obsession for some people. I honestly don’t care what another domme is doing if it isn’t hurting anyone or the community. I especially don’t care enough to post about it frequently. the space, on twitter specifically, is toxic sometimes when we should be uplifting each other and giving advice instead of subtweeting. of course, I just unfollow these dommes, but it has me wondering why? if you are making money and getting the sends you say you are why are you worried about another domme?

(for example, I saw a tweet today where a domme criticized amateur dommes for thinking that findom is hard when she receives sends all the time. it’s like… okay so why even tweet about it, yk? how is that contributing to your brand or bringing in more subs?)
