the power of scent?

I’ve had a few partners express how much they liked my scent. my first love would say he smelled me even when I wasn’t there, i’ve had other partners express a similar opinion like it’s addictive. my first love wrote me a love/goodbye letter and the very last thing he mentions is my “unique scent.” I thought it was just him and everyone else just liked my perfume
… but my last partner was a little extreme.

he claimed he would know if I was around by my scent alone. he could have been bluffing. but before we would part ways he would INHALE my neck like there was a line of coke on it. he did this about three times, one time it ended with a lick on my neck. the last notable time was near our job and he bit tf out of my neck afterwards lol. sniffing started to escalate to a common occurrence and he would sniff my air even at work with our coworkers watching. once, he claimed the meeting room smelled like me and inhaled deeply lmao. I asked him what I smelled like and he said roasted peanuts??? lmao maybe that’s my natural scent??? (I like that answer btw). I wear perfume, but he seemed to like my natural scent including on my period and without deodorant. it couldn’t be because of pheromones because we technically can’t smell them like a perfume.

I liked the attention don’t get me wrong, but I don’t understand the fixation? I like natural scent, but never to that extent and I honestly don’t even smell myself at all. how can it be so strong for them, are they lying, are they obsessed??? do other guys relate??? is the last guy just a pervert? lmao (im very curious, I wouldn’t post this if this hasn’t been on my mind for a while lmao)
