Real world physics/logic

Why do some people insist on following real world logic when the verses/authors clearly don’t care about that? “Nothing light speed can have mass, people can’t talk that fast, you can’t transcend fiction, you don’t need to be as fast as a person to run in and intercept them, you can’t hear in space etc..”

Clearly most of these authors don’t care about real world logic and show that repeatedly, so why do some try to force that logic as if it changes what the author intends and has repeatedly shown?
