My thoughts on Ratitude

I have been calling myself a weezer fan. I've seen them live, but in reality I've also listed to about 20-25 of thier songs. So since Friday I've been trying to listen to all of thier music or as much as I can find.

As of writing this, I just finished Ratitude an album I've been told is awful....but I kind of loved it. It's definitely thier weakest (right under Red, though I'm sure that won't last) but it is in no way a bad album.

I must admit that I am no expert on that makes good music, and am unaware of most trends that Weezer apparently took part in, but regardless this was a good album imo.

There were only 4 tracks that I didn't like:

Can't Stop Partying
Love is the answer
Let it all hang out
In the mall

And I loved:

[If you're wondering If I want you to] I want you to
Put me back together
Tripping down the freeway
I don't want to let you go

I know a big part of the Weezer community is how one album can be both loved and hated by so many different, and I kind of love that. So I'm sure there are other people who like this album. Just as I'm sure there are others who despise it.

Just wanted to share my opinion
