Recived a summons after 5 years

I was 18 living at an apartment with a roommate. It was Covid time and I was let go from my job and couldn’t find employment, we decided to just take out loss on the apartment and dip. A few days ago someone came to the house and told my family member they had a summons for the apartments. I leave for the Army soon and won’t be able to go to court, what do I do?
