Story idea that might not work

If you have ever seen the videos of people busting watermelons with rubberbands... That as a ballbusting (possibly rupture) method maybe the entire family gets involved.
I know it's short and dumb but I just randomly remembered that was a thing and figured it could probably be done with like castration bands or something.
