Question about players XP?

I just got a ps5. Been playing old gen Madden until now

I’m playing around with things waiting for final final rosters before starting my real franchise, and in a quick franchise I just started to mess with, I can’t see my players xp they have. Idk if it’s a setting I’m missing?

It’s usually in the strategy part of the week when you select your spotlight players, but now there’s that “mini game available” button in its place

I know they’re gaining experience because after my first pre season game I got a few players available for upgrade, so is it just not displayed or what?
