Regenerating characters getting busted

Has anyone toyed with the theme of ball busting someone with a healing factor? It’s missing the tension of risking permanent damage, but the victim can take terrible punishment over and over. A long session of extreme pain but then their flesh is just as tender and sensitive as the first time they got a taste of the whip.
Fun fact, Wolverine is canonically into bdsm. A journey through his mind went past a room labeled libido. The room was a bondage dungeon full of restraints and impact toys. Fantasy versions of Jean Grey and Madelyn Prior in the goblin queen outfits, Emma Frost, and Squirrel Girl were there.
