Durge: Kill the nightsong and kill your lover?

I’m just curious if this is possible and how to do it? I have romanced shadowheart, I want to go kill the nightsong and get the inquisitors set and then kill shadowheart.

Is it possible to do both? Can I kill shadowheart first and then still get the inquisitors gear?
