Refinishing options?

Kind of a odd question to ask but I had made plans with my dad work together to rebuild in of his old guitars that was still from him in the 80s but sadly he has pass before we could even start.

So my question is this are there and Harley Benton’s that have a pretty thing finish enough to get it refinished? His guitar had a bunch of gold hardware and Floyd Rose on and I got that stuff sorted out but I am looking for a body that that’s a Floyd cut body that would be a problem stripping and refinishing it?
