Lillith - Chapter 29 - Kurenais

Hello everyone! Sorry for the delay with this episode! I had been working on it bit by bit, and it was almost finished, but at some point, I lost the entire text... I had to rewrite everything, and that left me completely frustrated, which made me avoid working on this story for quite a while. But here it is, this chapter—it's a bit shorter due to the reasons mentioned above, but it's finished. I believe if we split the story into four arcs until the end, we're now entering the third arc. The first arc was the introduction, with the characters and the school, the second arc was the search for the ribbons, and the third one will start in the next chapter! Anyway, enjoy the read!

Armand recovered after a few minutes, taking a deep breath and finally standing up. His face was still pale, but he tried to hide any sign of weakness.

Meanwhile, Yu was already prepared. She carried a backpack on her back, her still-damp hair cascading over her shoulders. Without wasting time, she walked over to a red curtain pinned to the wall, pulling it aside with a swift motion. Behind the curtain, a simple wooden door was revealed.

Yu approached the door, crouching slightly to touch the lower edges and then moving her hands up to the upper corners. Her fingers traced symbols in the air, creating glowing patterns that shined for a few seconds before settling into the wood. When the final rune was completed, the door glowed with an intense purple light.

She smiled in satisfaction.

"Done."

Yu turned the handle and opened the door, revealing a dense forest on mountainous terrain. Massive trees rose on the horizon, with twisted roots and dark leaves.

She turned to the group.

"I'm ready. Let's go."

Lillith and Emma were the first to move forward without hesitation, crossing the door without showing any fear.

Luminar hesitated, swallowing hard before finally stepping forward and crossing as well.

Armand was about to enter when he felt Yu’s hand firmly on his shoulder. He turned to face her, only to see a wicked grin on her lips.

"If you want your fragile parts to remain intact..." She squeezed his shoulder slightly. "You better stick close to me the whole time."

Armand’s eyes shined with a mix of apprehension and suspicion.

"You can't trust any other woman we meet along the way."

Before he could reply, Yu gave a small hop in place, causing her breasts to bounce subtly.

She pointed directly at her own chest. "No looking at this. Not mine, not the students’, not any woman's you find along the way… One distraction means…"

Yu raised one hand and snapped her fingers, making Armand shiver at the sound.

Armand’s face remained serious, but his mind was already imagining the worst.

Finally, Yu crossed her arms.

"We need to kill three Kurenais to get enough ribbons. One ribbon is worth the size of three sold in the black market."

Armand took a deep breath.

"Understood."

Even as he kept a firm expression, the fear was real. He simply nodded without arguing.

With everyone ready, the group fully crossed through the door.

As soon as they stepped into the forest, Yu took the lead. Her steps were firm, and she kept a sharp eye on everything around them.

"Listen closely, you two." She spoke to Emma and Lillith without slowing her pace. "To women, Kurenais are like weak witches. Even though they are professional hunters of men, if their target has no testicles, they don’t last long in combat."

Emma listened attentively, but Lillith seemed uninterested.

"The problem," Yu continued, "is that they’re sneaky. They know how to hide very well and love ambushing. That’s why the three of us need to protect these two suckers at all costs."

Emma immediately activated a defensive spell around her fists. With determined steps, she positioned herself in front of Armand, like a personal guard.

Lillith, on the other hand, raised an eyebrow and gave Yu a sharp look.

"Hold on…" She crossed her arms. "Are you telling me I came all this way just to be reduced to a ball protector?"

Yu sighed, clearly annoyed.

"I hate it too. But it’s necessary." She pointed at Armand and Luminar. "Not only are their balls the perfect bait to attract Kurenais, but men don’t know how to protect them properly. So, someone has to do it."

Lillith laughed, tossing her hair back.

"Alright, alright. I’ll do it."

She activated her own defensive magic, small sparks dancing around her arms.

Meanwhile, Armand and Luminar were already used to the women’s condescending tone. They simply ignored the conversation and focused on the surroundings, alert to any suspicious movement among the trees.

The group had been walking through the forest for a few minutes, keeping a steady pace as Yu talked non-stop with Emma and Lillith. Her tone was casual, but the subject was far from light.

"It’s getting harder every time someone requests a Kurenai’s ribbon," she commented, adjusting the strap of her backpack. "They seem to be getting more creative."

Armand listened silently, his attention split between the conversation and the surroundings. That’s when he noticed a peculiar tree to his right. Its trunk had an odd shape, almost as if molded by human hands. Something about it stuck in his memory, but he said nothing and kept moving.

Yu kept talking, now focusing on Lillith.

"There was this one time a client tried to trick me and didn’t pay."

Lillith raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"And what did you do?"

Yu smiled mischievously.

"I simply threw him through the door to the Kurenai realm and locked it right after."

Lillith smirked, curious.

"I heard him begging me to open it," Yu continued, "until a female voice answered him from the other side."

Armand frowned. He didn’t want to know where this was going.

"A few seconds later," Yu went on, "a scream."

Lillith tilted her head, still curious.

"And the scream got thinner and thinner..."

A chill ran down Armand’s spine.

"Until it stopped."

Before anyone could comment, Armand interrupted:

"Hey, wait a second..."

Everyone turned to him.

"We’ve been here already."

He pointed at the same oddly-shaped tree he had memorized earlier.

Yu rolled her eyes.

"We need to walk in circles," she explained impatiently. "That way we always stay close to the door."

Armand didn’t like the explanation, but he had no time to argue.

"Don’t worry," Yu added with a cruel smile. "The Kurenais will come to us."

She smiled as if delivering great news.

"Just a few more minutes and your balls will probably be in danger."

Her casual tone made Armand and Luminar exchange uncomfortable glances. But before they could say anything, Luminar stepped back and the ground beneath him gave way.

He stepped on a patch of dry leaves hiding a hole. His right leg fell first, while the left stayed behind. The result was a sudden and brutal split.

"AAARGH!"

His groin slammed into the hard ground, crushing his balls mercilessly.

Before he could react, a hand emerged from the leaves, covering his mouth. Another grabbed his body... pulling him into the hole... by the balls.

"Uhhh, that fall must’ve softened them," a female voice whispered behind him. "It’ll make it easier to pop them!"

The pressure increased, and Luminar let out a muffled scream, his eyes wide with sheer panic.

Yu reacted instantly.

"Son of a bitch!"

She leapt into the hole without hesitation, her hand already grabbing the surprised Kurenai’s face.

"Lillith, Emma, help me get this one!"

Lillith and Emma didn’t waste a second. Both ran and jumped into the hole right after.

Mid-air, before hitting the ground, Emma was already charging a punch.

Her fist landed square on the Kurenai’s face.

The blow made the woman stagger and grunt in pain, but her fingers still clenched Luminar’s balls tightly.

"MHNNNMM, MHY BHHHLSS"

He writhed desperately, his scream muffled by the beautiful woman’s hand.

Above the hole, Armand prepared to help... until he felt a sharp, sudden, and all-too-familiar pain.

His eyes widened, and his body collapsed.

He dropped to his knees.

Only then did he see it.

A female foot was between his legs.

"Ugh...!"

The Kurenai observed him with a thoughtful look, holding his hair with one hand and tilting her head.

"Huh? They didn’t pop with that kick?"

She yanked his hair back, forcing him to look at her.

"Hmmm..."

Her gaze dropped to his groin.

"These are tougher than I thought..."

She clicked her tongue.

"Usually, the big ones pop so much easier."

Yu widened her eyes at the sight.

"What?!"

She nearly tripped over the Kurenai holding Luminar.

"Two?! At the same time?!"

Emma turned immediately.

The shock lasted only a second before her face transformed into pure rage.

"Hey, you bitch!"

She jumped back out of the hole, purple flames intensifying around her hands.

Without hesitation, she hurled a flaming orb straight at the Kurenai holding Armand.

The fire struck directly, quickly spreading across the Kurenai’s clothes.

"Shit!"

The Kurenai released Armand, trying to extinguish the flames.

Armand collapsed to the side, clutching his groin, while Emma charged toward the burning woman.

Emma kept pressing the Kurenai, her desperation evident as the woman struggled against the flames. Her shrill screams echoed through the forest, but it was all in vain. The purple flames consumed her entire body, burning until only ashes remained... and a ribbon, untouched by the fire.

At the same time, Yu conjured a flame in her hand. The other Kurenai, who was still clutching Luminar’s balls, widened her eyes as she sensed the imminent danger and released her grip in a last-ditch effort to escape. But before she could run, Lillith grabbed her hair, pulling her backward and pinning her in place.

"Not so fast..." Lillith whispered.

Yu didn’t waste a second. The flames erupted violently around the Kurenai, who let out a bloodcurdling scream. She flailed, trying to smother the flames with her hands, but it was useless. Within seconds, the fire consumed her entirely, reducing her to ashes. Only the ribbon remained.

Yu picked up both ribbons and tore them in half, turning them into four smaller ones.

"Great, just one more to go!" she announced, satisfied.

Lillith glanced around, crossing her arms. "So, what now? Are we gonna sit here until the two crybabies can walk again?"

Yu laughed with disdain and shrugged. "Whenever there’s just one Kurenai left, I usually start heading back to the gate. Saves time."

She looked at Armand and Luminar, still groaning on the ground, clutching their aching sacks.

"Stupid balls never stopped me from moving forward."

Yu extended her hand, and a ribbon appeared magically. With a swift motion, it shot forward and wrapped itself around Armand’s and Luminar’s groins, slipping through their pants and tying around their testicles.

Both of them widened their eyes.

"A-Ah! No, no, wait, Yu—!" Luminar tried to protest, but Yu had already yanked the cord firmly.

The sharp pain surged through their bodies as they were forced to stand up. Each shaky step sent new waves of agony, intensifying their groans.

Yu grinned. "Actually, balls have always been pretty helpful."

They had been walking for a few minutes when, suddenly, something moved above them. Before anyone could react, a Kurenai dropped from a tree, landing directly on Armand.

Her right foot struck his face, while her left foot cruelly smashed his balls against the ground.

"UHHHHH!!!"

Armand’s scream filled the air, his eyes rolling back in pure agony.

"Armand!" Emma shouted, launching a fireball at the Kurenai.

The Kurenai leapt away at the last second, dodging the attack. However, when she landed again, it was right on the same spot—squarely on Armand’s balls, crushing them even harder.

"AHHHHHH!!! NO, MY BALLS!!!"

Yu licked her lips and whispered with a satisfied smile:

"Bingo."

She snapped her fingers. A small flame appeared at the tip, instantly igniting the Kurenai’s hair. The fire grew rapidly, engulfing her head, then her entire body.

The woman tried to scream, but was soon reduced to ashes.

Only the ribbon remained.

Yu picked it up and tore it in half.

"Six Kurenai ribbons. Job done."

She yanked the cord again, forcing Armand and Luminar to walk.

"Ahnnnn..." Armand groaned, barely able to take steps.

"Why do they always go for the balls?" Luminar whimpered, clutching his groin.

Lillith laughed, giving Armand’s leg a light kick just to watch him flinch in pain.

"You two are so dramatic. Come on, tough it out a little more."

The walk back was slow and painful for the two men, but eventually they arrived at Yu’s cabin.

As soon as they entered, Yu released the cord, allowing Armand and Luminar to collapse on the floor, groaning in pain.

"When the crybabies stop whining about their balls, you can pay me and get the hell out."

She turned around and walked toward the lake inside the cabin, swaying her hips sensually.

Lillith laughed, crouching down to poke Armand’s left ball with her finger.

He screamed, arching his back in agony.

"Haha! So, Armand..." Lillith chuckled. "Did you enjoy the trip?"

He only groaned in response.

"It wasn’t that bad." She smiled, crossing her arms. "Actually, I loved this hands-on lesson about the Kurenai. I’ll definitely want to learn more about them."
