The Curse of The Witch: I shouldn't have allowed this Elf in my party

“Uhh, it is still a quite rare occurrence for the Goddess to assign someone a Cursed Weapon. Generally, they are very powerful although this one…yea, it possesses a rather…let’s call it unique curse. ”

The young elf looking at the dancing twigs above her silver hair was the first one to speak, breaking that hours-long silence that characterized all of our interactions since this morning.

“The Staff of the Witch of Ruins, imbued with all the hatred she felt for the man she once loved and who ended up cheating, betraying and ultimately killing her. As long as it stays in the hands of a guy, they will become the target of women’s desires of domination and pain, that once satisfied, will grant them, be either allies or foes, immeasurable gifts, rewards for successfully continuing the Witch of Ruins’s revenge. It makes me wonder if you are one of his ancestors or you just did something horrible in your previous life. Like, I wouldn’t wish this even to my worst enemy!”

She added, her words mixing with the laughter that had finally managed to escape her reddish lips. Once she was done speaking, she walked forward until our faces were only a few inches apart, as if she wanted to make sure I saw in all of its glory that wide smile between her cheeks.

“You find this funny, Lyra?! Becoming an adventurer has always been my dream, now ruined by the Goddess’s stupid decision! Really, one more word and I will kick you out of our party, so you can go back to your Palace and enjoy your boring life as a noble woman!”

I was so angry that my eyes could barely follow the shadow of her leg flying past the distance between us, until her ankle connected with a loud thud against my crotch.

In less than an instant, all my rage and worries had disappeared, taken over by the stabbing pain spreading from my guts, growing in intensity the more she squeezed my balls against the leather of her brown boots.

Those three seconds that had passed before she drew her leg back felt like an eternity in which all the strength in my muscles had been sapped by her kick to the point I couldn’t stand up anymore.

I fell on my knees, catching a quick glimpse of the satisfied expression printed on her face, of her big blue eyes looking down on me, before she spoke in an overly sweet, innocent and extremely annoying voice tone.

“Oops, I am sooo sooorryy! It must have been the doing of the curse!”

“Fuck off, Lyra! The whole curse situation is just the perfect excuse for you to be a jerk like usual. I swear you have always been like this since we were children.”

I cursed at her, knowing fully well that any reaction she managed to get out of me did nothing more but stroke her giant ego, and that wide grin on her face was enough to confirm it.

“You really wished you could ditch me right now, huh? Too bad I am the one funding this team! And, please, I barely put any strength into that kick! Wanna see what happens when I do?”

She was too fast for me to react, I could only watch, powerless, as the round tip of her boot hammered my right testicle into my stomach, it felt like a needle had just pierced my ballsack.

I fell on the ground face down, limpless, trying but not finding the force to hold my stomach where my guts began twisting and contorting in pain.

Tears filled my eyes, running down my cheeks and mixing with the mud on my skin. I wanted to curse at her again, to tell how much I hated her but I felt too scared to even try to reply back at her, after all who knows what she could do to me in this state.

In a way, I was kinda horrified to see how much she was enjoying this, it was too much even for someone like her, who I have never seen this excited before.

I had no other choice but brace myself for whatever harsh beating she had in store for my already battered nuts and was genuinely surprised when she actually tried to help me for once today.

“If you really want to do something about this curse, we should try talking to one of the Goddess’s Priestesses. There is a very slim chance they may know a way to get rid of it”

She turned around, but before she could walk away, she addressed me one more time.

“See you back at the inn, Clive, after you get a hold of yourself because there is no way I would let people see me with someone who looks like a dirty, pathetic worm right now! Take all the time you need to feel better, I know when we meet again you will thank me for helping you stop thinking about the curse”

Lyra left, and I felt both a sense of shock as I could easily tell she really believed what she said and one of pure dread, as I slowly started to resign myself to the fact that these experiences were gonna be more and more common in the future.

It took me ten whole minutes before I could stand back up, and another ten minutes before my legs stopped spamming, allowing me to, at least, try to crawl back to my home town.
