Should NiJaree Canady be hitting in the WCWS Championship

I think Tech is going to struggle trying to slug off these Texas pitchers and would have liked a better hitter like Jennings or Halleman get more than one at-bat each. That first-inning double play with no outs was the extent of their scoring chances outside of the bad rule resulting in a run. Thoughts?
