Accustomed to Bigger

Been with my gf for a few years now. We’ve openly discussed previous partners and she has indicated all of her relationship partners were well above avg. The discussions were always respectful and matter of fact, and ended with her assuring me my size wasn’t an issue.

Once while having sex, she on her back at the edge of the bed and me standing; she said “oh, watch my tummy and we’ll be able to see it bulge when you slide in.” There was obviously no bulge or movement and I just said “I don’t think I’m big enough for that.” The look on her face made it clear she was aware it was an awkward moment, but she didn’t say anything. We just moved on.

It was an innocent heat of the moment comment but gave me a surge of humiliation. We never discussed it and she has been more careful with her comments since.
