Kamen Rider Ryuki: The Yui problem

New Kamen rider fan here! First I just want to say I really like this show! I am a new Kamen Rider fan, In fact Ryuki is the first show I have watched for more than 5 episodes of I am loving it!

But there has been one thing bugging me since I have started. I'm on episode 22 right now and it feels like Yui does not get to do anything! She is this very important character who is the sister of the main antagonist and yet she is so often in the background!

I feel like she should have either been a Kamen Rider so she can actively pursue her brother or been apart of Shinji's journalism group since she is investigating anyway.

I mean even when she DOES go on the initiative to find answers like when she finds the house she and her brother used to spend time at as kids, it's the fortune teller that actually goes inside and has an important scene with her brother while Yui just stands outside having memory pains. Wished she had a moment where she stood up to her brother and called him out for what he is doing.

I don't hate Yui or anything in fact I really want to like her but I feel like she never gets to do anything important with the plot or is allowed to have any interesting relationship with the rest of the cast. I thought this would end up being the trio of Shinji, Ren, and Yui but so far the Ren and Shinji dynamic is the only one allowed to grow and evolve.

I hope she gets more to do later. What do you guys think? Am I missing something about her character that's amazing?
