Why does everyone have a car?
Why does it feel like literally everyone has a car like having your own car and having a senior parking spot and so many things that come with having a car are just like ingrained in the senior experience. I'm class of 2026 and I already feel so left out bro maybe this is just my school I live in a pretty nice area but I swear to God everybody has a car or literally my entire friend group and it's not even like these people are leasing cars it's like their cars that their parents got them. Literally why how is this happening. And like I don't want to sound bitter and jealous but I'm actually so bitter and jealous I have this one friend and he doesn't even have his license and his parents bought him a whole ass car that's literally been sitting in his driveway for like 8 months unused because he doesn't have a license and he doesn't have a job and like I don't know like I don't want to be bitter but I'm so bitter. Like I don't know being 17 and having to ask your mom to drive you to work there's just something that feels so shameful about that like I'm trying to get my money up but I'm also trying to save money for college because I'm going to have to drive to college even though I still going to live at home during it. I don't know maybe it's just my area but I feel like I'm literally the only person who doesn't have a car and literally everybody forgets that I don't have a car not in like a oh at least I didn't notice way but in like a it gets fucking annoying way like people will plan things during hours that they know damn well I have no way of going and then I'll have to beg somebody for a car ride. It's just like so humiliating makes me feel like a little ass kid.
