Happy endings in brutal stories?

Hey all.

I'm looking for someone stories that are brutal/intense (castration, permanent damage, ect) but otherwise have a happy or friendly ending.

I know a community trope I see sometimes is the man getting abandoned afterwards or just forced to be a cuck and I don't love those. Looking more for a "happily ever after, just without balls"

I'm pretty open on this, just would love something extreme that dosen't end on such a low note
