Idea: A civilisation or tribe where each individual is an individual part/fraction of a god.

It could be like the lamb and wolf from lol, where the original death god was so lonely that he used an axe to split himself into two parts, the wolf and the lamb. Our god could be like that but instead of two parts, hundreds of thousands of millions of fractions of the god could be split apart and born into their own beings, maybe just individual cells or organs, maybe each type of cell has a specific power and they all work together as a collective, becoming more powerful the more fractions of god there are in proximity. And then there are the ways the god can be separated; maybe the god originally split themselves into two, but those two decided to split, forming more fractions, maybe thats their form of procreation, maybe its a natural cycle like zygarde, maybe the god didn’t separate of their own will and it was an accident or another being of similar power.
