Lillith - Chapter 44 - The Judgment, Two Balls at Stake!
Hello everyone! I came up with the idea for the spell in this episode and got excited to write it! So I hope you enjoy this new character! I have two important things to mention.
1- I had an issue at the end of this episode (unfortunately right where the spell happens), so it might end up a little different, maybe even a weaker writing toward the end. I’m sorry… I hope this doesn’t take away from the experience…
2- I’m going to use this specific episode to answer any questions about the series, about any previous episode. So, did you have any doubts throughout the series? Want to know something about a character? (I’ve created backstories I’ll never post specifically for this kind of question haha) Want to ask anything? Now’s the time!
Happy reading!

The sweet, soft voice cuts through the tense silence of the forest, carrying an almost unreal calm.
"That won’t be necessary."
The sound makes everyone present jerk their heads in surprise. The leaves of the bushes on the right shift, revealing the outline of a woman. Luminar, still breathing heavily and with his body covered in a thin layer of dust and sweat, recognizes the voice before even seeing the face. His eyes widen and he gasps:
"Yu?!"
The Asian woman emerges from the bushes. Behind her comes a second woman, taller, wearing the city guard’s uniform. Her long pink hair is tied in a flawless ponytail that sways with each step.
The pink-haired woman gives Yu a firm look, then glances at the others with a vigilant air.
"Are they trustworthy?" she asks, in a firm and authoritative tone.
Yu simply crosses her arms, smiling confidently.
"Uh-huh."
Seraphina, suspicious, repeats the question, this time looking at Luminar.
"Are they trustworthy?"
"Uh-huh," he answers, a bit hesitant but sincere.
Yu steps forward, taking a small bag from her shoulder and holding it by the straps.
"You know, I got some bindings since the last time you were here, and I can give them to you to heal your teacher."
Her tone is too light, which immediately puts Luminar on alert. He narrows his eyes slightly and crosses his arms.
"But?..."
Yu sighs, leaning forward as if admitting something with some weight.
"Uhnf… I can’t just be being charitable?"
Luminar arches an eyebrow, his gaze cold and fixed. The silence that follows makes it clear that no one believed that excuse for even a second.
Yu laughs nervously, scratching the back of her neck.
"Okay, okay… look… I know your school is well-off, so, how about… I have a little problem with the city guard, and I have to… let’s say, pay with some hard labor. As you can see…"
She gestures with her thumb toward the pink-haired woman, who remains impassive.
"This lady here was caught selling things to some important criminals in the city. To make up for it, she has to help catch those same criminals," the guard says.
Yu gives a short, nervous chuckle.
"Heh… buuuut, if I pay a set amount, I only have to help with half of them! Half the work done! So…?"
Seraphina, who had been watching silently until now, steps forward. Her posture is firm, her gaze that of a teacher about to give a lesson to a disobedient student.
"And how much is that?"
The guard pulls a folded paper from her side pocket and hands it to Seraphina. Luminar and Morgana lean in to peek. As soon as they see the amount, both freeze.
Luminar’s face tightens, his eyes widen, and his mouth opens as if trying to comprehend the absurd number he just saw. Morgana, beside him, raises her hand to her head, shaking it slowly while murmuring something inaudible.
"What the hell did this woman sell them?!" she asks incredulously, staring at Yu with a look of pure astonishment.
Yu gives an awkward smile, shifting her foot on the ground.
"Little… insignificant things…"
Seraphina folds the paper, holding it between two fingers without looking away.
"If we pay, you’ll give us the bindings?"
Yu raises her index finger and winks.
"A deal between women!"
Seraphina exhales through her nose, still irritated, but conjures a magic circle before her. Glowing lines of golden energy appear in the air, forming a floating rune. From inside it emerges a stack of money enclosed in a translucent field. She holds it and hands it directly to the guard.
The pink-haired woman takes the stack, counts it quickly, and nods in confirmation.
"Thank you very much, miss," Yu says with a victorious smile. She takes a small package from her jacket’s inner pocket and hands it to Seraphina.
"Here are the bindings."
Seraphina takes them and immediately passes them to Luminar, who examines them carefully.
"We need to find somewhere to heal him. Let’s head to the city," Luminar says, already turning.
The guard watches the group and, noticing the deplorable state of Emma, Lillith, and Synthila, decides to intervene. The three were practically collapsed on the ground, exhausted and mentally drained.
"Look…" the woman begins, crossing her arms. "I see you’ll need a place to stay. Me and this young lady here will have to hunt these criminals for a while. If needed… you could stay at my house."
Seraphina, always polite, slightly bows in respect.
"Much obliged for your kindness."
The guard merely smiles lightly and nods. Everyone then begins walking toward the city, the sky above tinged with a soft orange as the sun slowly sets on the horizon.
---
The path to the house is silent, broken only by the sound of heavy footsteps on the soil and the distant rustle of leaves.
When they reach Aveline’s house, they notice that, despite its simplicity, it is beautiful and well-kept. The windows are adorned with small white curtains, and there are flower pots on the steps leading to the entrance.
"My name is Aveline, by the way!" the guard says cheerfully, turning the key in the door.
She makes way for everyone to enter. The interior is cozy, the wooden floor creaking lightly underfoot, the air scented with herbs and incense, and the unlit fireplace suggesting it is usually quite warm.
"There’s a vacant room here on the left of this hallway," Aveline says, pointing. "You can use it freely to heal everyone. There are only two beds, but there are a few loose mattresses underneath."
Luminar nods, his face serious, and begins carrying each one: Lillith, Emma, Synthila, and lastly Armand, who was still unconscious. He lays them carefully on the beds and floor, already preparing the materials for the potion that would remove Armand from the mind control.
Meanwhile, Morgana observes the surroundings. She notices a suit tossed over a nearby chair. The fabric is dark, elegant, and smells of masculine perfume.
Aveline, noticing her gaze, quickly runs over and grabs the suit.
"Oh my God, forgive me! This belongs to my roommate, Oswin."
She rushes into one of the rooms and tosses the suit onto the bed.
Seraphina, curious, asks:
"There are two bedrooms in the house, but you sleep in the same one?"
Aveline freezes for a second, a light blush spreading across her cheeks.
"Ah… yes… we… are… very close…"
Seraphina laughs softly, a playful smile on her lips.
"I see."
Aveline scratches the back of her neck, trying to change the subject.
"Well! Anyway, make yourselves at home! Now I need to work with Yu to undo the mess she made, right? Hahaha!"
Outside, Esmeralda and Yu were talking, leaning against the fence. Yu kicked a small stone on the ground, clearly reluctant to start the work. When Aveline comes out, she calls Yu with a firm look.
Yu takes a deep breath and starts walking. But then Esmeralda, curiosity in her eyes, asks:
"Hey… so… could I come with you? I won’t lie, I left school expecting a real fight, but I fainted through 90% of it… I’m dying for some action, I might not be that powerful, but I know how to make smart plans!"
Yu raises an eyebrow and turns her face to Aveline, who just lets out a resigned sigh.
"I guess… any help is welcome, right?..."
Esmeralda smiles excitedly and starts following them. The three walk side by side down the narrow cobblestone street, as the afternoon wind sways Aveline’s pink ponytail and the loose strands of Yu’s hair.
---
Aveline walked with firm steps, the sound of her boots echoing on the stone street. The sun had completely disappeared, leaving only the light of the lanterns reflecting off the city windows. Esmeralda followed closely behind, observing Aveline’s guard uniform with careful attention.
It was a stylized outfit, clearly designed to combine mobility with authority. The uniform left her legs and thighs exposed, and a cloak fell over her shoulders, extending into two long sleeves down to her wrists, with magical symbols embroidered along the fabric.
Aveline seemed unconcerned by Esmeralda’s analytical gaze, which prompted her to make a curious comment.
“You’re a witch, aren’t you?”
Aveline turned to her, smiling naturally.
“Oh, yes! I’m part of the City Guard’s Magical Alliance. Did the uniform give it away?”
“Yes, yes, haha. Where did you study?”
“The University of Clorofyuo Countryside.”
“Hmmm… never heard of it.”
Aveline let out a soft laugh, brushing her pink hair that swayed behind her.
“Yeah, I figured. When it has ‘countryside’ in the name, it usually means the middle of nowhere, haha.”
Yu, walking a little ahead, spun around excitedly and pointed to her colleague.
“You have to see her signature power! Haha!”
“Signature power?” Esmeralda raised an eyebrow. “You have a signature power, Aveline?”
Aveline looked away, a little embarrassed.
“Uh… yes… I do…”
Signature mages and witches are those who possess a unique magic, typically passed down through generations within the same family. Only that lineage can cast the spell. Modern studies still don’t fully understand why this happens, but it is believed these magics are tied to the family’s soul and spiritual inheritance. A classic example is Synthila and her blood-linking magic.
Yu, still excited, continued.
“Oh, and you better believe she does! Her power is incredible! I’ve only seen it in action once, and I can’t wait to see it again. If I were a mage and knew this existed in the city guard, I’d be terrified of doing anything wrong, haha!”
“Mage?” Esmeralda frowned, intrigued. “Is it a magic that targets men?”
“Well…” Aveline sighed before explaining. “Yes, it is. My family’s magic not only works exclusively on men, but only the women of my lineage were able to cast it. Since I was the only woman in my family in nearly three generations, the magic had disappeared for a while…”
Yu gave a small hop as she walked.
“I hope I get to see her in action again today!”
Aveline smiled, but her expression turned serious.
“If justice needs to be done… you will see it.”
“We’re here.”
She said, stopping in front of a dark, decrepit building. The sign, hanging from a single nail, swayed gently, revealing nearly faded letters that read “Central Bank.” The place was abandoned, windows boarded up, and doors corroded by time.
Yu crossed her arms, looking at the building with an exaggerated sigh.
“This is where you arranged the fake meeting? Seriously?! Couldn’t it be somewhere less cliché?”
Aveline ignored the provocation and pushed the door open, which creaked loudly.
“So… this is it? Face-to-face with him?” Esmeralda asked, entering behind them. “Wouldn’t it be better to… have a plan?”
Aveline moved further inside, observing the interior. The walls were covered in moss, and thin roots hung from the cracked ceiling.
“Don’t worry. This man isn’t a very strong mage… he only controls some plant magic.”
Yu, walking just behind, raised a finger nervously.
“Uh… so… it’s kind of for him that I delivered the Red Artisan’s leaves…”
Aveline froze for a second.
“What?!” she shouted.
The echo of her scream rang through the empty hall. A sound of leaves dragging across the floor responded. Inside, a male voice rang out, full of surprise and anger.
“The city guard?! Shit! IT WAS A TRAP?!”
Aveline immediately noticed the bracelet on her right arm, made of red leaves pulsating with energy.
“Shit, we’re screwed!”
“Huh?!” Esmeralda exclaimed, shocked. “You just walked in here without a plan?!”
“How does your magic even work?!” Yu asked, crouching behind a pillar.
Aveline responded quickly, conjuring a small white circle in her palm.
“I need to pass the Wall of Judgment through him! If I do that, the spell activates!”
“Right!” Yu turned to Esmeralda, pointing. “We just need to hold him in place, and then Aveline can— AAAAAAAHHHH!”
A huge plant whip shot from the floor and wrapped around Yu’s waist, lifting her into the air. The strike was swift, making her lose balance. The whip violently swung her back and forth, the impact forcing the air out of her lungs. Her body bent in midair, her breasts pressing against the thick whip holding her.
“Shit!” thought Esmeralda, rolling behind a pile of debris with Aveline.
The sound of dragging plants filled the room, the man laughing as he manipulated each vine with precision. Roots sprouted from the floor cracks like green snakes, trying to surround the two.
Esmeralda looked at Aveline firmly.
“Hey, you said your power doesn’t work on women, right?!”
Aveline nodded quickly, sweat running down the side of her face.
“Yeah… I hope that’s not a lie!” Esmeralda continued.
“When I give the signal, use the wall on me!” Esmeralda ordered, channeling electric energy into her hands. The crackling sparks echoed through the air.
She ran to the side, climbing stacked crates. Her jump was precise; Aveline’s eyes followed her feet touching the edge of a broken table, then the momentum launched her over a cluster of vines. Electricity began enveloping her body in a glowing field.
The plant mage noticed the movement and immediately released Yu, redirecting all the vines toward the kunoichi. They shot like arrows, tearing through the air with dry cracks.
Esmeralda advanced and was caught in midair by the whips, but at the same instant, her magic discharged, electrocuting herself.
The shock was brutal. The vines that still surrounded the man glowed incandescently, energy running along the branches like lightning crawling through wood, reaching the man, who was also electrocuted.
“AVELINE, NOWWWW AAAAHHH!”
Esmeralda’s scream of pain filled the hall.
Aveline raised both hands and conjured a giant, pulsating white magic circle. From it emerged a translucent wall with golden runes floating in a spiral. The wall moved in a straight line, passing through the electric field, through both of them.
Nothing happened for a second. Then, the plants disintegrated, turning to dust in the air. Esmeralda fell to her knees, gasping, while the man remained completely still, his eyes glazed.
“Judgment… BEGIN!”
Aveline’s voice echoed, firm.
The mage’s body froze, as if time had stopped for him. Esmeralda tried to stand and, on impulse, kicked him between the legs, but her leg passed through his body as if it were a hologram.
“Huh?!”
Yu, now free, limped forward and watched the air before them. A large transparent sphere began to form, floating and growing larger and larger. Inside it, the image of the man appeared, trapped in a cell.
“Now the show begins,” Yu said, smiling as she sat on a crate.
Aveline crossed her arms, observing the projection.
“Now we just watch the show.”
---
The three women watch what happens inside the sphere.
“This is the dimension of my power, he is trapped there for now, and he will go through judgment…”
Aveline says, clearly exhausted; this power probably consumes a lot of energy.
“Judgment?” asks Esmeralda.
“Watch and understand…”
Yu says, with a smile stretching from ear to ear.
Some women appear in the cell and open it.
“Come, your judgment is about to begin.”
“What the hell is this, where am I?!”
the man says. The woman then approaches him. The man tries to attack her, but his magic doesn’t work. He then tries to punch her, and his hand passes through her.
“What?!”
The woman calmly walks behind him. As he loses balance from the punch going straight through, she runs her hand between his legs and squeezes.
“WHAT?! AAHHHHHHH!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!”
the man screams.
“Let’s go.”
The woman starts pulling the man by his balls into another room. In this room, he is placed on an altar, and in front of him are three large tables. On top of the tables, three women appear and sit.
On the left, a woman with long black hair and a serious gaze; in the center, a redhead with an equally serious expression; and on the right, a woman with light blue hair and a simple smile on her face.
The three wear judge-like outfits, or rather… they look more like sensual Halloween costumes representing judges… and just like their beautiful faces, their bodies are equally sensual.
Suddenly, three pairs of balls appear on their tables, one in front of each woman. The black-haired woman arranges the balls on the table in a specific way. As she does this, the man shudders, feeling that touch… as if they were his own balls.
“Judge of Justice, ready!”
says the black-haired woman.
“Judge of Lust and Love, ready!”
says the blue-haired woman.
“Judge of Fate, ready!”
They all say together.
“Then we can begin the judgment!”
A paper appears in front of the black-haired judge. She picks it up and begins to read.
“Godfrey Theobald…
32 years old…
hmmm… ok… wow, quite a criminal record… Ok… ok…”
The judge looks forward.
“My initial vote is no! Let’s go to my question! Mr. Theobald, what did you do with the money you obtained from your first robbery?”
The man is completely confused by all this. What the hell is happening?!
“I… I used it to help my friends…”
The judge narrows her eyes at him.
“Judge of Lust, you may perform your analysis…”
“She bought my lie?”
thinks the man.
The judge of lust picks up a paper that appeared in front of her, her blue hair shining as if magical.
“hmn… betrayal, is it?… heh… wow… ehn… complicated haha… anyway… my initial vote is no!”
She looks at the man with a smile.
“Let’s go to my question then, Godfrey. What was the name of the woman with whom you cheated on your first girlfriend?”
“I… ehrn… uh…”
He doesn’t remember; in his mind, it was insignificant…
“Towey?”
The judge continues staring at him with a smile, then looks at the redhead.
“Fate, it’s your turn, my love.”
The authoritative redhead takes a sheet and begins to read.
“What a miserable life…”
she says.
“Alright… my initial vote is also no. Now, your answer may change my vote. If you captured the three women who were attacking you earlier, would you have killed them?”
“Never, no way! I would have knocked out all three and run away!”
The redhead remains silent, considering the answer…
Then the black-haired woman begins to speak.
“For lack of honesty, my question was disapproved. Therefore, my final decision is: Godfrey Theobald’s left testicle shall pay for his crimes!”
She says this, and her hammer flies at high speed toward the left sphere on her table. At that moment, the man feels agonizing and unbearable pain in his left testicle.
“AAAAHHHHHHHHGH, WHAT THE HELL?! AAAAAAAAGHHHH”
he kneels on the altar.
“For failing to value female superiority on the planet and respect them in love, my question was annulled. Therefore, my decision is: Godfrey Theobald’s right love ball shall suffer for his lust!”
The blue-haired girl’s hammer flies toward the right ball on her table. A new pain arises in the man’s sack, this time on the right side…
“AagggggggghhAAAAAAHHHHH! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! STOP! FUCKING STOP!!!”
The redhead then speaks.
“For lack of honesty in judgment, my question was annulled.”
“NO, NO, PLEASE, NO!”
the man screams. But the redhead continues.
“Therefore, my decision is: Mr. Godfrey Theobald does not deserve his masculinity.”
With what seems to be triple the strength of the other two, the redhead brings her hammer down, completely obliterating the spheres on her table…
The pain is insane… his eyes widen… reality shatters like glass, and he returns to the banker. A few seconds pass. Esmeralda, Yu, and Aveline look at the man…
“At any moment… and…”
Yu says excitedly…
Suddenly, two loud “SQUISH!” sounds are heard, and between the man’s legs, something seems to have deformed completely in an irreparable way…
Esmeralda is in shock over all this…
Aveline stands up, tired.
“Mr. Godfrey, you have failed your judgment, and your balls have been confiscated…”
She limps toward the man, who has already fainted from the pain, and begins to handcuff him…
