Everybody seems to be struggling now?

I’m from southeast asia. Is it just me or does everybody everywhere seem to be struggling now? Where I’m from business is bad and people are struggling with expenses. Even the well off people are complaining about struggling with expenses, that’s how bad it is.

And what’s worse is it seems to be a global thing right now. I have friends from the US and Europe and they say it’s much of the same there. I recently traveled to China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, etc and that people there all say the same thing that business is bad, it’s a lot harder to make money now and expenses are piling up.

If everybody right now is struggling who’s doing well lol? Is this just a phase or is this just life from now on? No wonder young people don’t wanna have kids in this economy.
