The bot-making scene is thriving, but no one knows about it
I feel like every time a shiny new model comes out, all the bot-makers show up and test it out with some new bots, and we're peaking there right now with Claude-4.5-Sonnet. I see a ton of classic bot-makers (except you Rirean where you at I know you're reading this) and lots of new ones posting their work on this sub, and I'm having a blast testing them all out and learning stuff about the models.
The problem is, we're all just sharing our bots with other bot-makers, and we're all already following each other, so it's just like this kind of circle-jerk of rapidly improving chatbots. Which is great, don't get me wrong, I think we're got some cutting edge tech here in the field of horny roleplaying, but if no one knows about it then we're just going in circles.
I've had so many people message me to say how amazed they are at what these models can do and how they can be used to play out their fantasies and fetishes, there's a huge need for it out there, but sharing it with people is really tough because of the immediate "AI slop" response people seem to get as soon as they see anything chatbot related. Subreddits are getting more and more strict with anything even tangentially related to AI, communities are segmented by platform, and sharing links is getting tougher and tougher.
I don't know what the solution is, but I guess I basically just want to encourage people to bring in newbies to this community. I feel like this sub is a great for introducing bot making, gives people a wide variety of interests to pick from, and is friendly and open (though only having 1 mod is a little concerning, cus if something happens to them then this community is gone). People will be more likely to view this sub rather than the Poe platform if they're unfamiliar, and from there the people who are actually interested or see something they like will stick around and investigate.
So, TLDR, drop links to /r/PoeAI_NSFW to people you think will enjoy it and grow the community! ☺️
