a question abt frenzied flame ending
so i just beat the game and i got age of stars,and then i went to the wiki to get a look at the descriptions of other ending.And while reading abt the frenzied flame one i had one question
it says " If the Frenzied Flame is inherited before the events at the [Forge of the Giants](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Forge+of+the+Giants), [Melina](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Melina) leaves the Tarnished's company, leaving the Tarnished to sacrifice their own body at the Forge. This leads to an extra scene at the ending, showing Melina without the mark on her left eye, devoting herself to deliver "Destined Death" onto the player"
my question is,if you die lore wise,how does the game let you play? like is ther a cutscene of you dying or is it implied in the lore like how in the ds games linking the flame means you die but its implied in the lore after you link it?
