i died as connor in the first mission,what happens in the next mission bc one time i play as a black guy taking the bus and then as kara cleaning a house.HELP

so for some context i load the game and i play as connor,i find clues and all that and i get to the hostage situation,i wanted connor to live bu ti accidentaly pressed the button to sacrifise myself and i died,next i was in a shop as kara and the guy (who i later learnm is todd) takes me and names me

THEN i play as a black guy in a park where i go to a shop to buy something,and omw to the bus i get jumped by a guy for stealing his job but then i get saved by a cop

next i go to the bus but my game crashes and i load it again

after i reload it im in a car as kara and i arrive at todds house where im told to clean the house and thats where i pressed pause and wrote this


my question in: after connor dies do you play as black guy or kara? did i get glitched? was this supposed to happen?
