does the blonde lady in the main menu actually say things based on your choices in game and is she ever wrong? HELP NEEDED

so so far im loving detroir and currently just finished the mission where marcus left the scrap yard,previous to that i get alice and karl killed by accident,and i knew alice died but when i went to leave the game and go watch yt, the blonde lady said "you killed kara and alice,how could you" and then something like "the androids lifes rest on your hands"

and the weird thing is usually i get one mission with akra,then connor,then markus (or something in that order) but never two missions with one character unless ive done one misison on each character.And about the "a stormy night" mission,i didnt move and got the ending where i stay downstairs,todd kills alice and then i go up to see whats happening,but i didnt die

BUT after the interogation mission i had the junkyard mission then i saw the next mission and then left the game,but that missionw as with connor and it said "find amanda"

so is kara really dead and where can i check if she is?
