MemoBound - I made a wrapper app that adds a memory layer to any bot you give it. Hugely improves stuff like remembering your character, kinks, restraints, etc.

Finally done testing and tweaking this and wanted to share.

If you've a lot of chatbots, you'll know they have a tendency to forget all sorts of details or say stuff that doesn't make sense for the current context. Stuff like forgetting whether you're dressed or not, losing track of a fantasy or fetish you mentioned to them, telling you to "Open wide" when you're already ring-gagged, we've all been there.

I've tried making bots with instructions in the prompt to include a "memory" field. By using the footnote markdown, you can make the text invisible on desktop (still shows up on mobile) and tell the bot what information it should put in there (e.g. output a memory field with each output which describes the user's current state). Problem is, it affects the bot's writing. It makes it have to mix the concise writing for the memory with the narrative writing for the actual output. Plus, it's just extra stuff for the bot to do, so it'll be worse at everything else it's supposed to be doing and taint the prompt.

The solution:

- Make a 'memorizer' bot whose sole purpose is outputting stuff that should be remembered.

- Call the 'memorizer' bot after every response to get an updated memory field.

- Include the memory along with each user submission.

That's what MemoBound does.

To use it, in your first message, just name the bot you want to chat with, then chat as usual.

The result is that any bot you use through it receives a very detailed additional message in its context, which tells it all the things it needs to remember or keep in mind while generating the new response. I've tested it a lot, and consistently get better results and fewer dumb errors and oversights. It's a little pricey because it adds an extra call to the memorizer bot with each output (Claude-4.5-Sonnet), but if you're willing to trade points for quality (and having to regenerate fewer bad responses) then it's totally worth it. No additional points or costs are added by me, just the regular bot costs.

Here are some examples of the memory it's built after a few messages with different bots, and try to imagine how having access to this live information about the would help the bot generate responses, even a dozen messages later, as the data is retained and updated with every new response.
