About me: I'm Dan. I'm a 40ish year old man with a background of a phd in a hard science and significant time spent in liberal arts while getting it. I'm a sub who can switch and am masculine presenting but bad at adhering to a binary in behavior. I grew up being fed extreme ideologies both religious and non religious in a often traumatizing environment, and I think that is part of my draw toward them now as kink.

Why I'm here: I made this account almost a decade ago to explore kink and improve writing skills related to it. So between that and my background, written kink around ideology fits right in.

The things I find most appealing and how I play are by challenging and analyzing ideological concepts around sex and gender and how they play out for groups as well as the individual. I like the frustration and humiliation around being proven wrong, and how that can translate to sexual frustration and arousal. Masculinity and femininity and where they clash with reality are great topics for me.

I know feminism quite well and can critique it. I like role playing games like DND and can play characters outside my usual to help a partner or understand a position. I prefer not making a bunch of accounts for kfabe to do roleplay of different characters/concepts, so will change my affiliation on this one instead. Also here for practice service topping.

I won't play/engage with people who will not communicate well out of character, or have red flags like "no limits." Short term and long term are both ok.
