which mantis blades are better for sandevistan? normal,poision,electric,or thermal?

so i just got the dynalar sandy(bc david is fucking cool and i wanna be david in this game) and i also want mantis blades,but which should i get and how do they work?

my choices are poision,electric,thermal and normal

i wanna know how all these status effectes work and also will my stats/build have to change based on what i choose (my stats on the future bc at level 10 you hardly gave a build)

bc aside from a passive like "deals more fire damage" (i just made that up),which if so you would have that and the thermal blades,do my stats,percs,abilities and shit change/benefir the status effects? (if someone is familiar,how in eldenr ing arcane affects bleed,is there amth similar)
