if i use the zetatech sandy midair and then drop down is the 60% effect still active for the entire 6 secs?

so currently using the dynalar sandy that has 50% slow and 5% crit chance and 5% crit damage

now if i just double jump before i use the zetatech sandy so i activate mid air and then drop down do i still get 60% slow or do i get the 30%

or is it like 60% only when mid air the entire duration?
