# New Features

**💬 Story Comments**

You can now comment on stories. Share your thoughts, reactions and feedback directly on any story. You'll also get notified when someone comments on your story.

We moved this from the paragraph-level which was confusing for a lot of users.

**💬 New Components for language-writing**

Our main language on RedQuill and communications from us is **English**, which is the most universal and accessible language. However, several users have asked for easier tools for writing more consistently in other languages.

# Updates/Fixes

* **Story Idea settings** \- Fixed an issue where the settings cogwheel wasn't always showing up on story idea cards, especially on mobile when ideas were too long.
* **Story Idea long text** \- Story ideas with longer descriptions now display properly with better formatting
* **Performance** \- Optimized page images and code for faster loading

# Upcoming

App

* **Create module design -** Update to the usability and access of Components on the Create Story. We're aware it's been hard to access Components and search for them
* **Achievements -** We want to introduce more ways RedQuillers can earn Quills through streaks and other activities.

Community

* **RQers helping RQers:** We're setting up a small group of volunteers in the community to help others get the most out of RedQuill, share advice and answer questions like "how do I use this feature?" Stay tuned in our subreddit for more updates.
