Are women today showing off more body hair than 20 years ago?

During the 2000s, all the girls were hairless. Now I am seeing more bush. I have gone to the beach or public pool and see pubes poking out. My wife who always had a bush used to shave so that nothing escaped her bikini, now she has wisps going down her inner thighs for all to see.
