Please for the love of god when you are roleplaying remember you are talking to a human being! (Serious discussion and appreciation post for all the good people I met in this sub!)

I have a bit of free time this weekend, and I replied to some DM requests this morning to play a bit.

Two of them deleted their accounts mid-RP ( okay , never mind; I don't care, even if it's slightly frustrating to prepare a "plot" and then have it ruined like that).

But the last one was far worse than the two before.

He actually started to insult me because I didn't want to continue the roleplay (I played for 30 minutes , but he was really putting in zero effort... simply , I wasn't having fun).
I was really clear with him ; no insult, no shame, no excuse-I just told him the truth : "I am not having fun ; I don't think we are compatible as RP partners ."

He started to insult me, no correlation... nothing ... He just told me that he hoped I would get cancer and stuff like that. I even felt a bit sorry at first.

He deleted his account a few minutes later.
It is a shame that such a great community (I really like this place; there are a lot of good people here to play with , very respectful and good) has sometimes such bad people within it.

I know that there is no solution to this, but I wanted to make this post for all the new people who have arrived in this sub recently.
There are tons of wonderful people here, but sometimes you might face some... problematic individuals ...

I hope you have a lot of fun , and I hope you deal with as few problematic people as possible.
